Multiple Sclerosis
Multiple Sclerosis (MS) is an autoimmune disorder that causes demyelination of the central nervous system (CNS). The symptoms of MS vary from person to person, but some of the more common symptoms include excessive fatigue, numbness, tingling, muscle loss, balance deficits, vertigo, slurred speech, tremors, stiffness and bladder problems. Numbness is one of the symptoms that occurs in both MS and TOS, however the differentiating factor is that individuals with MS may experience these symptoms in their face, body and extremities.
